He is making a way for you

"Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert."

Isaiah 43:18–19

Reflect

We’ve all faced disappointments and heartbreak. It’s easy to feel discouraged by these experiences. In this passage, God is encouraging His people not to dwell on the past but to open our hearts to the new thing He is doing. Even when it feels like nothing is changing, God is always at work. He is already making a way for you. He has plans you don’t know about. If you’re going through a challenging time today, know that God has not forgotten you. He’s always working to redeem and restore even the most challenging circumstances in your life. He is able to make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert for you. Surrender the painful memories of the past to Him and trust that He is leading you toward a new beginning—one filled with hope, healing, and purpose. Let Him make a way for you.

What could change in your life if you put off defeat and walked the new road God has for you? These changes might be internal or external.
